The Uniroyal Soccer program is offering a new exciting sweepstakes this year. The lucky grand prize winner of the �Soccer to Go� Sweepstakes will receive a set of Uniroyal� tires, free gas and a car game/entertainment system as well as a $1,000 donation to their soccer organization to put toward field equipment, scholarships and other items as chosen the soccer organization.� In addition, one first prize winner will receive a free set of Uniroyal tires and a $500 donation to their soccer organization.� Any adult (ages 18 and older) can go to www.uniroyal.com/sweeps and enter the sweepstakes on behalf of their child from August 1, 2008 to December 1, 2008.

Schedules are now online!

The MYRSL Fall Pre-Season Meeting was held Tuesday, August 19th at the Bavarian Inn (700 W. Lexington Blvd., Milwaukee). One representative from each team is required to attend. Schedules and other materials will be distributed and discussed.

If your team's Registration Fees�is still "UNPAID", please bring payments with to the meeting.� Unpaid fees will be collected by John Janasik, League Director.

Registration Fees are all past due as of July 1st.� All payments were due within 14 days of registration.� You can check your payment status on the Alignments or Register Teams List.

Fall 2008 Alignments

The Fall 2008 League Season Alignments are now available here.�

These Alignments are subject to change and without notice.� We are waiting for any team that were not accepted into the WYSA State Leagues.� They will be added soon to the U-12, U-13 and U-14 A Divisions.

Teams will not be written into the schedules until their fees have been paid in full. Amount owed is listed. Send payments payable to MYRSL Team Registration, 10708 W. Hayes Ave., West Allis, WI 53227.

Any questions, including whether payment has been received, should be directed to your League Director, John Janasik.

Team Registration is Now Closed

Team Registration is closed. Alignments will be drawn up and available online soon.

If you missed the opportunity to register your team, you must contact Jay Kemp immediately!

Registered Team List and U-19 play deadline

Once you have submit your team registration for U-14 and younger, your completed registration is added to the Fall 2008 Registered Teams List, found within Fall 2008 Season area of Navigation at left. You can review your conflicts and other details there.

All U-15 through U-19 games must be completed by July 3rd.

Fall 2008 Team Registration

This coming Fall 2008 Season, MYRSL will be offering divisions for Girls U-11 and U-12. Due to request from our members clubs, we are opening these division for play starting September 6. These divisions will operate within the same time frame as our current divisions and alignments.

Projected playdates for Fall 2008 Season for all ages:
September 6 (Saturday) & 7 (Sunday)
September 13 & 14
September 20 & 21
September 27 & 28
October 4 & 5
October 11 & 12
October 18 & 19
October 25 & 26

Each team will be able to block out up to 6 weekend playdates for conflicts (tournament, school, religious, etc.). Most, if not all, school calendars are available for 2008/09 school year. Please plan ahead.

Note: If your team is applying to the WYSA State Leagues, there is no need to apply to MYRSL as well. If your team is not selected to Premier or 1st Division, your application will be passed down to MYRSL along with your paid registration fees.

Team Registration is now open. Deadline will be Sunday, June 22nd extended to Friday, June 27th.

Spring Season and Beyond

This season has been somewhat dismal thus far, but we been experiencing a big turnaround. Better, warmer weather is in the forecast. Many of the teams have been quick in rescheduling their make-up games and without fuss. Much applause to you all.

As we are only starting to play, we need to put some focus on the Fall 2008 Season as the Registration Periods ends on Sunday, June 15th. We are roughly two months away from aligning teams for the new soccer year. WYSA (and other states) Sanctioned Tournaments are approved for 2008; most schools (if not all) have their school year calendar available for next year and beyond; holiday calendars are available everywhere. Start collecting your list of conflicts for the Fall 2008 Season. The Fall League Season will begin on Saturday, September 6th and end on Sunday, October 26th.

MYRSL is going to introduce Girls U-11 and U-12 Divisions starting this Fall.

Field Closures

Unfortunately, there are a quite a few field closures during the early part of this Spring Season. Those have been noted at right and will be updated as necessary. There is no need to Submit Reschedule Request(s) for games that affected by the noted Field Closures. Games that are affected by the closures will be noted on the schedules as "Postponed" until the reschedule game date and time are arranges (see below).

NOTE: Some games have been moved to an alternative field/location. Please check your schedules for specific updates and keep in touch with the opposing manager and/or coach.

What to do next??? Contact the opposing team manager and/or coach. With a coordinated effort, arrange for a suitable make-up date and time. Home Team coach/manager should contact their Club Field Scheduler to verify when fields are available. Once all is arranged, Submit Reschedule Update Info to supply game information to MYRSL League Administration. REMEMBER: Spring is a short season. U-14 and younger games must be completed by the first Monday in June (June 2nd).

Things to be aware of... Factors used in scheduling are both teams conflicts and club field conflicts. Weeknight make-ups may be the only available make-up dates.

The weather is starting to cooperate, but the fields have taken in a lot of precipitation. All of this is obviously out of our control.
